My 3 little kids have been home from school for almost a year now. What started out as 2 weeks turned into 5, which turned into months, which turned into at least 18 months by the time it’s all said and done.
I think it’s really OK to say IT’S A LOT. For all of us mamas who are home juggling all of the things.
And what started out as kind of a honeymoon phase, over time has morphed into burnout. Burnout is defined as “a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands.”
Now if that doesn’t define the past year for me (us), I don’t know what does!

Lady - burnout isn't something you can just recover from in 3 easy-peasy steps, I wish it was. It can take weeks, months or even years. But it IS possible.
