The experience

The vibes
At the Teen Yoga Retreat, your teen will gain so much more than just a fun week away. Through fun & approachable daily yoga and mindfulness, they’ll learn tools to manage stress, build confidence, and deepen their sense of self. The adventures — from rafting to ziplining — help them step outside their comfort zones in safe, supportive ways, fostering resilience and courage. And living together for a week, sharing chores & meal responsibilities in a screen-free environment encourages teamwork, independence, and real friendships that last well beyond the retreat. Your teen will return home with a feeling of exhaustion (in the best possible way!), balance, deep rest and a connection both to themselves and to a positive, uplifting community.
Our retreat home is a spacious lakefront house in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, the perfect backdrop for a week of relaxation and adventure. With its own private dock, teens can head straight from the backyard to the water for paddle boarding, kayaking, and floating on rafts. Inside, the house is designed for connection - with a pool table, ping pong, room for 10, and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Berkshires, the lake house gives teens the chance to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the best of summer in a safe, welcoming, and dog-friendly space.
The location

Your teen’s safety, comfort, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. With small group sizes, every participant is known, supported, and cared for as an individual. I bring years of experience working with tweens and teens through yoga, mindfulness, and retreats, and I’m dedicated to creating an environment where each teen feels seen, valued, and encouraged. From thoughtful guidance during yoga and outdoor adventures, to shared meals and downtime at the lake house, we provide consistent structure, nurturing attention, and a warm, welcoming community. Parents can feel confident knowing their teen is in good hands — supported physically, emotionally, and socially throughout the week.

The care
Adventure is at the heart of the Teen Yoga Retreat, and the Berkshires provide the perfect playground! Your teen will experience the thrill of white-water rafting on Class I–II rapids, learning teamwork and courage as they paddle together down the Deerfield River. They’ll soar high above the valley on a mountain-top zipline tour with 7 breathtaking lines, and challenge themselves on a ropes course full of ladders, bridges, and short zips. Each activity is designed to be exciting yet accessible, offering safe, guided opportunities for teens to step outside their comfort zones, discover their strength, and celebrate the joy of outdoor adventure.

TESTIMONIALS

Teen Retreat 2024
We could not have asked for a better retreat experience for our daughter. Louise puts so much care, intentionality, and integrity into her programming. Every day, the girls had opportunities to connect with themselves and to each other while still having a lot of fun. We appreciated the level of communication and the ability to follow along on the adventures in the shared photo album. I am amazed at the diversity of experiences our daughter was able to have and am so thankful she has Louise in her life.

Teen Retreat 2025
“I don’t want to go back to real life where everyone’s on their phones again, feeling like I need to be attached to my phone again and having to reply to messages. At home, I pick up my phone without even thinking, and then I’m stuck in it because I can’t figure out what else to do. Part of me wishes someone would just take it away, but I know I’d feel left out too. This week felt so different — doing the coloring, the bracelets, just like we used to. Being with friends without our phones was so nice. Being outside so much more, laughing, playing games, reading, all without the distraction of the phone . I want more of that. I also loved doing yoga in so many different ways—SUP yoga on the lake, aerial yoga in the studio, even goat yoga.”

Teen Retreat 2025
We’re so grateful to Louise for offering our teen such a unique
opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and connect with nature, build friendships, and grow her confidence. This is not your average summer camp experience! Louise has designed such a special yoga and mindfulness retreat for teens. She selects beautiful accommodations, plans daily epic adventures, sparks creativity with art projects, and builds independence and mindfulness through daily yoga practice. Our daughter came home feeling well-rested and happy. She is already looking forward to next year’s retreat.
