Louise Parker has been practicing yoga for close to 20 years. She recently trained in the Yoga Shanti method of practice, and certified as a 200YT yoga teacher. She will soon be working towards her 300 hour YTT certification with Yoga Shanti.


The Yoga Shanti method of practice was created by Rodney Yee & Colleen Saidman, and is deeply established in the roots of the Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions, but in an innovative and responsive way to modern life. Recognized as one of the most welcoming, uplifting and safest styles of yoga to practice, there truly is a place for anyone willing to step onto a yoga mat.


Louise is passionate about creating a yoga experience that is inclusive, welcoming and empowering, from students to seniors; from the most agile to the most fragile; from the beginner to the senior teacher; and everyone in between! To comply with social distancing measures to keep our communities safe, most yoga classes are currently online in a Zoom setting. Using this type of setting gives you the personal feedback on your physical yoga practice, that is so key in creating and maintaining a safe and enjoyable yoga practice. 

Some classes are available in an outdoor setting, with masks and spaced apart mats.
